Peter aims to empower leaders, church and other organizations in connecting faith to life. To see people have a renewed vision of God’s plan for them.

Peter has more than 50 years of experience in business at a high profile management level, starting his professional career as a junior at DDB Needham Advertising, Sydney acquiring an extensive portfolio of business expertise. He ended his career as Managing Director of DDB, by then the second largest advertising agency in Sydney. During this time Peter was part of the team who launched McDonalds in Australia.

In 1996 Peter, with his business partner, established the Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchise in Australia. In January 2005, they purchased the International Master Franchise brand for Australia. By the time the company was sold in 2014, there were over 400 Gloria Jean's stores across Australia and over 800 coffee houses in 39 countries worldwide.

Peter now speaks worldwide, providing tools, encouragement, advice and expertise to businesspeople at a variety of Church and non-Church events.

In 2017 he was awarded an honorary doctorate by NYACK College New York for his contribution to their MBA course and to business in general.

Peter Irvine is the author of ‘Win In Business’ -20 keys to catapult you towards your vision and more recently, ‘Building your Business, your People, your Life.’ He speaks at Church services and events, runs business workshops and seminars which reach both Christian and non-Christian groups. Peter shares from real life experience and is passionate about seeing business people come alive to the full purpose and potential God has for them in life.

Peter and his wife, Sue, have been an active part of Sydney Hillsong’s ‘Hills’ campus for over 20 years, and love to see churches grow and flourish to bless their communities - including business people.
